Ground Improvement
Ground Improvement
Exploring the future of foundations
Geopier Foundation Company developed and patented a ground improvement system using Rammed Aggregate Piers that provides unparalleled reinforcement for any type of soil.
Our technologies employ high vertical impact energy on thin layers of high-quality aggregate, achieving high densification and creating highly rigid elements.
We reduce the high direct and indirect costs associated with the construction of piles, soil-cement, and the excavation and replacement techniques.
Soilsolution is the Geopier® licensee builder in Guyana.

Learn about Geopier systems

IMPACT®
It is the ideal solution for improving loose sands, clays and soft silts, mixed soils, uncontrolled fills, contaminated soils, and soils below the water table.

X1®
This system is constructed by drilling a pre-hole, similar to the GP3® system, through which a patented hollow rammer is lowered. This rammer features a gravel retention and release system similar to that used in the IMPACT® system.

GP3®
The GP3® system constructs Rammed Aggregate Piers using a drill-and-replace method.

GCC®
This is the ideal solution for improving very soft, highly compressible, and thick peat or clay soils. For proper performance, a competent support stratum is required to transfer surface loads.
