The GP3® system constructs Rammed Aggregate Piers using a drill-and-replace method.
During the construction process, a hole is drilled to insert crushed, angular gravel. A beveled rammer attached to a high-frequency vibratory hammer is then inserted, inducing vertical vibro-compaction energy. Successive layers, approximately 30 to 60 cm thick, are compacted until the surface or foundation depth of the element is reached.
It is the ideal solution for reinforcing soft to firm clays and silts, uncontrolled fills, and loose sands.
