The Impact® system install Rammed Aggregate Piers using a patented mandrel and a displacement method, which allows these elements to be built without pre-drilling.

During the construction process, the mandrel is driven into the ground using specialized machinery and a vibratory hammer. Once the desired depth is reached, the gravel and mandrel are deposited through the hopper with the help of a telehandler.

It is the ideal solution for improving loose sands, clays and soft silts, mixed soils, uncontrolled fills, contaminated soils, and soils below the water table.

In soft or organic soils, adding a low-strength cement and water mixture to the Impact® system stiffens the gravel pile and solves long-term deconfinement problems.
