GCC® Rigid Inclusions (GeoConcrete) allow for the construction of high-rigidity, plain concrete elements.

They are installed using a patented displacement process, similar to that used in the IMPACT® system. This involves driving a hollow mandrel to the design depth, through which treated gravel with grout or plain concrete is pumped.

GCC® Rigid Inclusions are only compacted at the base. After the bottom bulb forms, the mandrel is extracted while plain concrete is continuously pumped to the foundation depth.

This is the ideal solution for improving very soft, highly compressible, and thick peat or clay soils. For proper performance, a competent support stratum is required to transfer surface loads.
